YOGA NIDRA
Imagine a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping. Yoga nidra is like the ‘going-to-sleep’ stage, typically induced by a guided meditation.
With ancient roots, this practice is used for many modern treatments relating to stress and anxiety, and is a widely accepted treatment for PTSD.
The first session of yoga nidra can bring immediate physical and emotional benefits, such as reduced stress and better sleep. If practised regularly, it often has the potential to heal deeper psychological wounds and past trauma.
A session lasts between 20 to 60 minutes. Lie down, close your eyes, surrender to the ground and follow your instructor’s voice.
I am a certified yoga nidra instructor after learning the techniques from Indian monks when living in an authentic ashram in India.
Yoga nidra is a very sacred practice, and I encourage you to listen to this without any distraction.
Particularly beneficial for lawyers and corporate executives, downloading this free yoga nidra guide will help cultivate effortless relaxation and facilitate sound sleep.
Enjoy!
